This won’t work for two reasons:
1: You have to get it and therefore you have to already think you’re depressed.
2: People ignore what electronics tell them to do all the time (alarm clocks, reminders on the computer, robocalls, etc.)

I think if you need your phone to tell you any of those things, then they’re the least of your worries.

Didn’t you guys posted a video on Facebook, Twitter, cellphone addiction already? It won’t be helpful to have this. It’s bad enough we ask google to diagnose what we feeling to add a psychologist to our phone. Is ridiculous. I think is far too much technology already

depression is a joke, considering how awesome we have it compared to 200years ago, 500years ago 2000years ago. were leaving a dream.

depression is a “medical diagnosis” that really isn’t a medical condition. it’s just saying your a live and life isn’t easy. get over it.

I’d say it’s like obesity being an epidemic, it’s not. just stop eating so much.

Or that video games, television, and music cause teens to be violent, there was violence long before we had these things… Spanish Inquisition?

Depressed people need to just learn how to deal with their problems instead of just sitting there and whining about them all the damn time. If it’s a problem unsolvable, oh god damn well, live life to the fullest. = u =

I can’t get the top of my lollipop out of the plastic, and that makes me depressed.
I don’t think my phone is going to tell me that.

@themrfj No you’re right. I’m in a psych class and we just recently got finished with discussing the different types of “psychologists” that do different stuff. Good that you know that though

By the way….there’s no proof that this app will actually help you….they did a horrendously small correlational study that does not show cause/effect, just trends…and 8 people?? Good lord, just tell the public that you didn’t trust yourselves to have a large one and foul up your highly expected results.
