How do i stop Skype from closing itself?

Whenever i start up Skype it closes itself after 3-5 seconds, as in it just totally exits out of the program entirely not disconnects me.

Before today i didn’t have this problem but now all the sudden i do. Help?

    The program may be corrupted and crashing.
    Or, possibly you have a virus.

    Uninstall Skype and reboot PC.
    Then download and install latest version: version 3.8
    See if that helps.
