How much does Skype cost from Afghanistan to the USA?
Here’s the deal. My brother is in Afghanistan, and phone calls back and forth are really expensive. If he were to get Skype, and we were to get Skype here, how much would it be? Does it cost anything to get it? How much money does each connection from Afghanistan to the US take (we can’t call him–he has to call us).
We just want to know how much it will REALLY cost. We don’t want just bits and pieces of the rates, like the site seems to be giving us.
If you both have Skype on your computers and you call through Skype (not Skype to a cellphone or landline), it is completely free. Skype allows Skype-to-Skype calls for free. It only charges if it’s going to call something other than Skype.
