HTC Desire Mobile Phone – Part 3 – Product Tour
In the third video of the series I give you a complete product tour of the HTC Desire Mobile Phone including some tips for setting up security and the difference between application shortcuts and widgets. Manufacturer website: www.htc.com Sponsor: www.bmisolutions.co.uk Check out more great reviews on my YouTube Channel: www.youtube.com Or on the website: www.geekanoids.co.uk
@Patsa2001 No, this is a non-Apple product, made by HTC.
No one has been able to tell me what the point of an optical trackpad is. Why have one when you can scroll with your fingers?
@JohnnyZenith It is useful sometimes for precise positioning in text messages etc.
Could you tell me that the unlock pattern that you set or other features as you have shown in other videos (e.g. having a lot of options while you use the camera to take a photo) is specific to HTC desire or it is because of Android 2.1 OS (That is other Android phones let’s say HTC Legend has it as well or not)? Thanks in advance.
@siamak14 Not too sure on this one. The unlock featured on my other Android phone, but this was HTC too. Anyone else know?
It WILL support a 32GB sd card or it does?
@point6000x It does.
@davomrmac another question: how to fix the known multitouch problem, which appears if you paint over cross as it can be seen here; watch?v=3kI0jSXWU0Y @ 3:00 ? theres any patch/fix?
@point6000x Probably a fix will be issued.
@davomrmac the desire supports more than 2 fingers? HTC announced a fix? The HTC Incredible exists or its fake? HTC Evo will release in germany?
very helpful,thank you.
@19Tracy65 Thanks for your comment, glad the video helped.
Well, that thing with the “576 MB of RAM for installing Applications” is just wrong. You install apps on the rom, not on the ram. Ram is there to store processes temporarily, not to store them permanantly like “rom”….
When and where can i purchase the htc desire for tmobile here in the united states?
Why do you go over the same things as you did in the second video? God..
hi dave only one more question , when do you are making a phone call , and do you want to lock the screen so you cant touch any no wanting widges , on the screen the phone hang off the call . or kip runing normaly ? because a got this problen whit , my x10 xperia , and i realy want to send it back because off this problems o so the flash camera haw it is thanks one more time .
@washingtongato2 In call it is in the call making screen, so no widgets can be accidentally touched. I hope that is what you were looking for as a reply.
Very very nice review. Made me decide to ask for one. Thx for your indepth reviews!
@JackPoint Cheers for that.
what uk cell phone carrier is the desire for?
@checo165 It works on any. Depends which one you buy it for, or if you buy unlocked.
as lovely as the live wallpapers are, did anyone else notice the huge decrease in sense ui’s speed when hes scrolling from screen to screen?
@Cm810 I do notice this from time-to-time. The static wallpapers are a lot snappier.
@davomrmac
Thanks for the reply. Realistically, how much battery life can I expect from the phone with average usage. (Bearing in mind I don’t intend to keep 3g on or widgets and apps open in the background). Thanks
@Cm810 I get the very minimum of a whole day now, sometimes almost two.
