    HI, is the micro USB connection the same as a standard micro USB that you may buy from any IT retail outlet? I got told the micro USB is a HTC design and needs to be the HTC cable & you cant use any other micro USB cable… is that right?

    @sakin81 As far as I know any microUSB. My other charger works fine.

    PLEASE REPLY!!!! okay so my birthday is coming up and i want a new phone, which one should i get? Either the nexus one or desire(incase its for t mobile) or the iphone? And also when is the desire going to come to US?

    hi am planning to buy an HTC desire from a local shop my problem is i want a factory unlocked HTC Desire rather than T-mobile unlocked (is there even any difference) how should i distinguish?

    @InSaNiTyReiGnZ Yes you install a sim card, you get one from your mobile network provider.

    Does Htc desire have an amoled display or is it different display? Because I found somewhere that it doesn’t have the amoled display.

    One more question.What phone would you buy a Htc desire or a new Samsung galaxy s? I think because of the amoled display the battery life should last longer, what do you think? And some features on samsung are better, i think.

    @fildasek1 I would advise to try both out if you can. Desire is much better build quality, through the Galaxy S is slightly better phone and screen.

    can you unluck a tmobile desire to use on a orange sim? iam sure its possible lol. just curious cus i want to get this phone…my last phone ever…after loosing my damn hero!!

    @kvocalist The Desire is available sim unlocked from the likes Clove Technology.

    Please (Samsung galaxy s), can i ask you how to turn wap or gprs connetion off? When i turn my wifi off, automatically wap and gprs turn on and Where can i calibrate a digital compass? Thank you.
