Is there a free sms from computer service that works in Spain? Text4Free/Gizmo do not work.?

I have seen many sites that allow you to send free sms messages to mobile phones. I tried a few like gizmo and text4free. No messages arrive when I send myself a text. Can anyone suggest a working free sms service? I think these sites are maybe just phishing….THX
