Hi mate, I’m looking for a new laptop/desktop. my budget is £400, I saw on amazon a used early 2008 white MacBook for £300. It is the 2.1ghz intel core duo. Do you think this is a good purchase?if not do you know any other laptop/desktops which are good and fit in my budget. Thanks mate, keep up the good work!:)

I’ve decided to go with the Apple/iOS camp but I’m not averse to keeping up with the Android side of things. RIM and Blackberry appear to be in trouble in the US hence the better price in the UK. As you say it’s good for business comms. Great first episode. Looking forward to Tuesday now.

I agree that RIM make some really nice looking devices but I just can’t get on with them. That Asus does look nice :)

Good choice of music intro and (at last!) properly lit studio and presenter! :-D The video is of a lower quality than usual. though (changed the video device for this one?)

Don’t be fooled by the first impressions of the Prime. While it has a a lot to offer, it’s not perfect and certainly not as fast as it should be. I’m a prime owner and I’ve done over 50 videos for it exploring the best bits and I’m still not convinced. Check out my channel for loads of videos and a full 30 minute review of the prime.

No, you can’t add a USB dvd/blu ray drive to the prime. You can attach an extenal hard drive and even a four way sub hub port (to a point). See my full prime review and all my other videos for more info.

BarleyHavedson929 didn’t even mention the Prime in his comment. With that being said, his comment isn’t relevant in this case. However, that’s not the point. You read the comment wrong, which means your comment isn’t relevant either. Besides, I see you deliberately try to advertise your channel based on your other comments. I suggest you leave the responsibility to answer questions to Mr. Dave himself, as it’s his video. To Barley; Go for it. Macs are efficient on battery and power. Good deal.

You’re right. I didn’t read the comment properly. I’ve removed it. Having BarleyHavedson929′s comment properly. I would agree actually. I have a 2008 macbook running windows. After a clean reinstall about a year ago it runs fine.
