So I have a desktop that does not have a microphone. I want to connect my blackberry curve to the computer via bluetooth so that I can use it as the microphone for skype. I don’t know how to do this properly, because when I do it, it doesn’t show up that the microphone is transmitting data to the computer. Any ideas?

Dr. George Carlo EMF Cell Phone Dangers Interview

May 22nd, 2010 25 comments

www.emfnews.org TV Interview with Dr. Carlo (Campbell Live, TV3) Dr. Carlo talks about the cell phone industry’s marketing towards children and the epidemic projections from cell phone use.George Carlo and Martin Schram are aiming to become information-age Ralph Naders. They ask a question that ought to concern America’s 103 million mobile phone users, as well as those who merely come within earshot of these popular devices: Is the wireless future a threat to public health? “Visit any public building, college classroom, courthouse, or commuter train, and look around: You’ll see people using not just wireless phones but also wireless laptop computers and miniature palm tops,” write Carlo and Schram. “What you won’t see are the microwaves that are criss-crossing a confined space where a number of people who are not even using these instruments are bombarded by these waves.” It sounds creepy. And Carlo, an epidemiologist who once oversaw a multimillion-dollar research project on health for the cellular industry, believes the news is not good: there may be a link between cell phone use and brain tumors. The research is not conclusive, but Carlo and Schram think it’s disturbing enough to warrant government action. Needless to say, the industry that once backed Carlo’s work now considers him persona non grata. Due largely to Carlo’s coauthorship, Cell Phones is unavoidably a one-sided story. Key business figures didn’t agree to interviews. In fact, this might have been a better

How to hack mobile phones with Bluetooth [link included]

April 9th, 2010 25 comments

-All is explained here in the description- This is a tuturial how to hack the most mobile phones with Bluetooth with your Sony Ericsson or Nokia phone. You need a program called “Super Bluetooth Hack” (it’s also called “BT Info”). You can download it on many places, such as: www.hack.pt.tp or rapidshare.com (there are the newest versions! It’s version 1.08) or try Google (search for “BT Info” or “Super Bluetooth Hack”. With the program you can do things on the other phone such as: – read SMS messages – read contacts – change profile – play ringtone (even if phone is on silent) – play songs – restart the phone – turn off the phone – restore factory settings – change ringing volume – call from the other phone (it includes all call functions like hold etc.) Notes: 1.) When connecting devices use the code 0000 2.) At start of programm on smartphones do not forget to turn on bluetooth before start of the application 3.) You have to download the file with Firefox, because Internet Explorer makes it a .zip file. If you don’t want to download Firefox, you have to change the extension of the file from “.zip” to “.jar”. If you downloaded the file as a “.zip” file, here is explained how to change it to a “.jar” file: With Windows: 1. Go to Start – Computer 2. In the menubar, go to: Tools – Folder Options… (With Windows Vista, you have to push the “Alt” key before you can see the “Tools” menu) 3. Go to “View”, and than deselect the mark from “Hide extentions for known file types

Should Hands Free Be Allowed While Driving?

May 1st, 2009 No comments

Around ten years ago only business men and women would of been expected to talk on a mobile whilst driving. It was seen as something that was quite extravagant. But now during this current day cell phones have hit the main market and people were having deadly accidents because they were being distracted by talking on the cell phone.
This is the reason that it is now against the law to speak on a mobile phone whilst driving, you get distracted in two ways one is by typing in phone numbers or looking for a friend’s number and the second is not paying attention to the road because you are involved in a deep discussion.

One major aspect that was not banned by the government was the use of hands free kits. But should global authorities be rethinking this? The simple fact of the matter is that there is still tons of dangerous accidents occuring on the road every day due to people not paying full attention.

When people have chats on the phone your mind tends to not focus away from driving. Let us just think of it in this light, if you were simply trying to write an article and talk on the phone at the same time it would end up being very difficult to do. You would most probably get no where with the article or you would end up not paying attention to the person on the phone. So speaking on the mobile even on a Bluetooth is likely to sway your attention and should 100% be made illegal as well.
You should test yourself one day, leave your destination and begin talking on the phone; I bet that in no time you would have reached the destination and be baffled by the amount of time that has passed because you were in a conversation daze.
