Please Tweet it! clicktotweet.com What do strangers do when you crash their phone conversations? The answer even surprised me! Shot in San Francisco, CA over Thanksgiving weekend. Special thanks to my beautiful wife Kim Evey for operating camera, and to the three surprisingly nice people whose calls I crashed! Is everyone that nice in San Francisco??? music by audionautix (Jason Shaw) www.youtube.com A lot of you ask how I record the sound in these videos. I use a Sennheiser wireless lavaliere mic (hidden under my sweater, by the breast bone), and shoot with a small, inexpensive Canon HD camera (HFR200) that the audio receiver plugs directly into. Sometimes I use a lavalier mic that I’ve hidden in the top of a ball point pen, and it sits in my pocket. Kurt Nimmo www.infowars.com May 31, 2011 The United Nations’ health agency, the World Health Organization, now lists mobile phone use in the same “carcinogenic hazard” category as lead, engine exhaust and chloroform. www.cnn.com But no adverse health effects have been established, the agency explains. The decision to list cell phones as a cancer hazard came after a team of 31 scientists from 14 countries examined peer-reviewed studies on cell phone safety. “The biggest problem we have is that we know most environmental factors take several decades of exposure before we really see the consequences,” said Dr. Keith Black, chairman of neurology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Numerous studies indicate prolonged cell phone use is hazardous. The European Environmental Agency has pushed for more studies. It says cell phones may be as big a public health risk as smoking, asbestos and leaded gasoline. In 2009, WHO reached the same conclusion. A decade-long, million study into cell phones found a link between long term use and brain tumors. The WHO’s Interphone investigation’s results showed “a significantly increased risk” of some brain tumors “related to use of mobile phones for a period of ten years or more,” the Telegraph reported. www.foxnews.com
No one wants to make a call to their insurance firm simply because we know that we are going to be on hold for hours upon hours, a lot of folk have had a bad experience with calling a company up that they have signed an agreement with.
I mean if you call up the sales department they will answer your call straight away because they simply do not want to miss out on business. But if you then try to ring the support team they will end up keeping you on hold forever.
Well what occurred to me was that I had to ring my insurance firm to sort out some incorrect details on my policy, so I sat down one afternoon and rang the number. I was quite shocked to be honest as it was sort of a premium rate numbers and when I called the sales line it was a free phone 0800 number.
Well after around 15 minutes I still had not managed to get through the automated service. Five minutes later I got through to the line, but no way was anyone going to answer. They literally kept me on hold playing me shocking music for around an hours and when the call was finally answered the issue was resolved within five minutes.
I was quite angry, I was really annoyed when my bill came through because I got slapped with a huge bill. I just could not bring myself to call them because I would of ended up getting slapped with another bill. Why are businesses during the economic downturn not offering 0800 numbers, because when I renew my policy I am going to find one that does.

Not so long ago the first landline phones were released, these phones used finger dialling and they took the world by storm, people were able to communicate with people in other countries. But as everything these phones started to develop calls got a lot clearer and we could call overseas destinations for a lot less.
But then game the production of mobile cell phones, these caught on like wild fire and now in this current day and age we are seeing kids as young as ten years old using mobile phones. The technology in mobile handsets are just developing so fast, they now allow us to connect to the internet as well as capture images and videos. The calls are also getting a vast amount cheaper and you will be able to get signal from almost anywhere.
Do we actually really need landlines anymore? This question has two answers, which are both yes and no, so lets have a look at the reasons why
1) Initially businesses will always need land line telephones, they will need these to transfer calls, track calls and do a lot more. Although mobile phones are great I do not think they can be used for business reason.
2) On the other hand are landlines really needed in the home anymore? I mean mobile phone calls are getting a huge amount cheaper so why get a landline? The thing about landlines is that they only work in specific locations you cant be too far away from the hand unit if you are using a cordless set otherwise the signal will go, besides that they always need charging otherwise their batteries will die.
In the end only time will tell what is going to happen in the forever advancing technological world. Lets wait to see what happens in the next few years.

Around ten years ago only business men and women would of been expected to talk on a mobile whilst driving. It was seen as something that was quite extravagant. But now during this current day cell phones have hit the main market and people were having deadly accidents because they were being distracted by talking on the cell phone.
This is the reason that it is now against the law to speak on a mobile phone whilst driving, you get distracted in two ways one is by typing in phone numbers or looking for a friend’s number and the second is not paying attention to the road because you are involved in a deep discussion.
One major aspect that was not banned by the government was the use of hands free kits. But should global authorities be rethinking this? The simple fact of the matter is that there is still tons of dangerous accidents occuring on the road every day due to people not paying full attention.
When people have chats on the phone your mind tends to not focus away from driving. Let us just think of it in this light, if you were simply trying to write an article and talk on the phone at the same time it would end up being very difficult to do. You would most probably get no where with the article or you would end up not paying attention to the person on the phone. So speaking on the mobile even on a Bluetooth is likely to sway your attention and should 100% be made illegal as well.
You should test yourself one day, leave your destination and begin talking on the phone; I bet that in no time you would have reached the destination and be baffled by the amount of time that has passed because you were in a conversation daze.
