“”Greatest Hits of sinkholes” A teenage girl walking down the sidewalk in Xi’an, the capital of the China’s northwest Shaanxi Province, fell nearly 20-feet when a sinkhole opened up beneath her feet. The incident was captured by a city surveillance camera. According to CNews, the incident occurred on March 25th. Luckily, a passing cab driver witnessed the girl falling into the sinkhole and was able to get help. A teenager who was walking and talking on her cellphone plunged 20 feet into a sinkhole after failing to notice caution blocks on the sidewalk. Firefighters rushed to the scene and saved the teen and a Good Samaritan who fell in while trying to save her.
