My question is based on the copyright laws of the painting that uses image from skype as a source. I am not using the images taken on skype for commercial use, but possibly the paintings.
I do not have permission from my subjects because surveillance is key to the work of art.

I live in Canada and I make frequent phone calls to Asia and Europe. I have been using phone cards (or calling cards, such as CiCi, Asia Direct and Top) which I bought from a local convenience store. I recently learned about this software called Skype, which can make phone calls to landline phones. However, it seems that if I want to make international phone calls with it, I need to buy "credits". I am wondering which way will be cheaper for me — using Skype or phone cards?

I already have Vonage just for that but I would like to be able to talk to her while I am out as well and Vonage cell phones only work when you are near a WIFI signal.
