January 4th, 2010

Do you really want to be available for anyone and everybody on a twenty four/7 basis?  What do I mean?  A star once said {that the} more offered you make yourself; the more obtainable everybody will expect you to be. People can truly be aggravated if you’re not instantly and constantly available instead of being pleased when you do call. People expecting you to be obtainable continuously may be annoying.  Mobile phone calls follow you everywhere you’re as well as your bathroom.  Even throughout nighttime when you would like to rest, cell phones still ring and annoy you.  If it’s necessary, no problem but if it is very menial, why you wish to be bothered thus late.

These days in this modern society, we tend to live in and the proliferation of cell phones we tend to see individuals talking anywhere and everywhere.  If used for business, this may encourage be terribly effective and worthy.  But, for terribly menial problems being bothered in your sleep and even throughout your toilet time may be quite annoying if not outright disgusting.  However, if you create yourself available constantly, you created your own nightmare.

Mobile phone etiquette is obtaining to be a forgotten concept.  You’ll see folks talking on the phone loudly and disturbs individuals nearby in restaurants and even in offices.  I’m sure by currently, once or twice during a meeting you will notice that when a cell phone rings, nearly everyone around can immediately look for his or her cell phones.  If you were the one talking, and then the person in front of you talks on his phone, how would you’re feeling?  I’m sure you’ll feel belittled and ignored.  Rude follow, and ought to be changed.

It could help individuals who use cell phones to follow sure degree of etiquette with respect to the employment of cell phones specially in places where you may seem rude if you use or perhaps when your telephone rings.

When you are during a place of worship, it might be necessary to leave your mobile phone within the house or a minimum of turn it off if you do not wish to be away with it.  This is because ringing mobile phone can not just disturb you while you pray it can also disturb others.  You do not want to point out off your expensive gadget during a place of worship.

Throughout conferences, please flip off your cell phone; it is rude to have your phone ringing whereas somebody speaks.  Disruption could cause issues especially when the meeting tackles extraordinarily vital issues.  But, if you are looking ahead to terribly important decision, you may use the vibrate mode of your telephone to alert you when a decision is in-coming and leave the meeting if you need to answer the call.  You may also inform the possible caller that you are in an exceedingly meeting which you cannot be disturbed.

When traveling and if you’re on-board an aircraft, you’ll be required to flip off your phone.  This can be as a result of electronics devices could interfere with the aircraft’s avionics.  Thus, it’s a requirement to flip of your phone for safety reasons.  But, for terribly long flights, airline companies enable mobile phone usage at a bound time, if you actually want to form a phone call, use this time allotted if necessary.

Telephone have become to be a necessity nowadays, that’s why most folks use it and cellular phone makers have continuously develop totally different usage and functions for this terribly little gadget. Be globally competitive, but you must understand that being rude is not part of modernity.  Follow sure degree of etiquette; this can be terribly helpful to you and your business.

Are House Phones Needed Anymore

May 26th, 2009

Not so long ago the first landline phones were released, these phones used finger dialling and they took the world by storm, people were able to communicate with people in other countries. But as everything these phones started to develop calls got a lot clearer and we could call overseas destinations for a lot less.

But then game the production of mobile cell phones, these caught on like wild fire and now in this current day and age we are seeing kids as young as ten years old using mobile phones. The technology in mobile handsets are just developing so fast, they now allow us to connect to the internet as well as capture images and videos. The calls are also getting a vast amount cheaper and you will be able to get signal from almost anywhere.

Do we actually really need landlines anymore? This question has two answers, which are both yes and no, so lets have a look at the reasons why
1) Initially businesses will always need land line telephones, they will need these to transfer calls, track calls and do a lot more. Although mobile phones are great I do not think they can be used for business reason.
2) On the other hand are landlines really needed in the home anymore? I mean mobile phone calls are getting a huge amount cheaper so why get a landline? The thing about landlines is that they only work in specific locations you cant be too far away from the hand unit if you are using a cordless set otherwise the signal will go, besides that they always need charging otherwise their batteries will die.

In the end only time will tell what is going to happen in the forever advancing technological world. Lets wait to see what happens in the next few years.
