Even with skype doing nothing in the background, I find that my battery drained 2 times faster with skype running in the background than without it. Is there something wrong, and how to I stop it if I still want to run skype on battery?

On Skype, when you’re video chatting with someone is it actual talking or do you type messages. If you can do both, how do you change it to typing?

Whenever i speak using my new headphones(included mic) on skype or yahoo messenger my friend hears the sound from my music or from my games. Before i used a clip-on mic and a phone headphones without mic. I have a Realtek HD sound card.

Okay so I looked on the skype website and it said that on the ipod touch 4th generation, you can make video calls on skype. But I downloaded the skype app, and I can’t find where you make video calls.

Okay,so i dont have webcam effects so i download things that will get me them. but,i cant use them on skype because it says webcam already being used…what do i download to be able to use webcam effects on skype?

I want to delete my Skype call history. I have my privacy setting set to no history and I have hit Clear history. However, it does not completely delete my call history it more like hides it. I can click show hidden conversations and the calls I deleted show back up. I don’t want to hide the history I want to delete it for good. By the way I have the newest version of Skype and I am running Windows Vista.

I’d like a cheap way to call internationally from my cell phone. I know Skype’s rates are very cheap, but i just want to be sure, before I make a call, that the international calling rates are the same even when I am using skype from a phone and not a computer. (I have never used it on an iPhone before)

I need a laptop which I will be using for school, internet, and Skype. I don’t play games or anything, so I don’t need a really expensive computer. I’m thinking about buying a really cheap Toshiba, but am concerned about making sure that Skype will work well on it. Are some laptops too slow for Skype? Anyone have any problems with this? Thanks!

I’ve never used skype and I don’t know how to use it, but I’m guessing it’s like ventrilo in the way that you have to connect to a specific server to find people to battle.

So, how do people contact each other through skype and where can I find the info for a channel to go to for pokemon battles?
