In the last five years, the amount of surveillance has expanded and it has steadily increased at a rate of 15 percent per year since 2007. According to mobile service carriers, in 2011, 1.3 million cell phone requests were made by law enforcement of users’ digital data and 2732 wiretapping requests were also made across the US. The growing trend has resulted in a decline in warrants for wiretapping. So what does this mean for Americans? Alan Butler with the Appellate Advocacy Counsel for EPIC, joins us with his take on the growing practice. Like us and/or follow us: twitter.com www.facebook.com
LG Extravert (VN271) Verizon Wireless Mobile Phone Review/Look Note: I will do an 2nd video titled as an update for how the phone performs including the battery. So my mom had decided to open a 3rd line with Verizon for just an extra a month added to the bill, we decided to pick the Extravert as it does have a touch screen and seems to be well equipped. It was Free at Costco and also Free at many other mobile stores. You still have to pay Taxes on the price though, Activation does cost – but can be waived depending on the store. Anyways the phone so far seems to perform great with a nice stylish look to it. The touch screen is fairly smooth and responsive, calling is very clear and loud (depends on your area though). As we don’t text I can say much about it, but the full QWERTY keypad has a smooth and flat feel to it with minor bump and decent look. So this phone to me is very similar to the Cosmos Touch which I believe is the same phone just with a different exterior. Overall it’s a very basic and decent looking/feeling phone that doesn’t require a data plan. Uses basic Verizon wireless interface and is remember a CDMA phone so No SIM card. You do have options to get a Data plan to use the mobile web or perhaps Facebook or similar. Do remember on these feature phones Web capabilities are limited. If you have any questions or comments feel free to let me know! I’d like to hear from you!! Thanks For Watching!!!

MobileBurn.com – The new Motorola DROID 3 is the third iteration of the very first Android smartphone to launch on Verizon Wireless. The 3.0 version of the DROID features a larger, 4-inch display with qHD resolution, a 1080p HD capable 8 megapixel camera, and a new dual-core TI OMAP processor that runs at 1GHz. The newly designed 5-row QWERTY keyboard on the D3 is likely the best to date, and the device as a whole offers a great deal of functionality. More info: www.mobileburn.com
