Motorola DROID 3 (Verizon) – part 1 of 2

July 20th, 2011 25 comments

MobileBurn.com – The new Motorola DROID 3 is the third iteration of the very first Android smartphone to launch on Verizon Wireless. The 3.0 version of the DROID features a larger, 4-inch display with qHD resolution, a 1080p HD capable 8 megapixel camera, and a new dual-core TI OMAP processor that runs at 1GHz. The newly designed 5-row QWERTY keyboard on the D3 is likely the best to date, and the device as a whole offers a great deal of functionality. More info: www.mobileburn.com

The Nokia 3120b is back, and this time it’s Nyan Cat! I sent my old phone a specially crafted multimedia message with a MIDI sequence and GIF image playing together. This video is mostly just filler but kind of a commemoration of the original video getting a Nyan Cat progress bar. Original Nyan Cat site: www.prguitarman.com Original Nyan Cat video: www.youtube.com Many thanks to UDeep for the MIDI file I modified for this video. The original video and MIDI are here: www.youtube.com freewebs.com

Does verizon charge you for using skype on a smart phone?

I have an HTC Thunderbolt 4G and I want to know if Verizon will charge me for using skype via phone. I only plan to make video calls to friends and I have an unlimited data plan.

Thanks in advance.
