My laptop has a built-in camera, and I haven’t used Skype on this computer before so I don’t know.
Will it turn on and show me as soon as I answer a call for video chat, or is there a way I can do it without being on camera? And same thing for mic, will my mic turn on automatically?
Thanks.~
For example, i work for a business and want to set up a conference call board meeting. How would i manage that on skype? Do i need to pay? I know group video chat is .99 per month for each person, but what if i dont need to video chat, just call? How do i go about setting that up?
so my skype usually works with my lenovo integrated camera, but when i tried to use the video chat option tonight it didn’t work. i tested the video settings and it recognized that the camera was there but no image was showing up. it had a grey box with a camera crossed out on it. what can i do to fix this?
1st I want to know how does skype work, and is it the best video chat app available? I have an Sprint HTC Evo, and my sister has an Sprint HTC Evo Shift, we both have skype on our phone but I am not sure how to connect with video chatting, I am not sure if it is a paid service or what I see an area on the phone that has payment info, I am lost using skype.
Just got an Iphone 4 with verizon and my sister in law just got the droid incredible with verizon we want to video chat on skype so we can see each other but cant figure out how to use it. I have used facetime with my iphone already but i see skype is allot different.
I think facetime is only iphone thing, or can droid phones get facetime too?
Thank you
I haven’t done the video chat yet. Is there a way on Skype that I can send instant messages to the person that I am video chatting with on Skype?
I want to get skype on my laptop, but do I have to have a camera for video chat?
I have a webcam, and every time I open video chat on skype, it shuts down. It worked before for like two weeks, but now it won’t work, and I tried downloading skype again, but still nothing.
When I make video-chat calls on Skype on my MacBook Air, my video is fine for the first few minutes, but the screen eventually starts to get really choppy and it freezes. I continuously have black screens on the video-chat screen, and it turns my voice into static. Is there a way to fix that? I have the first version of the MB Air if that helps.
I can make skype calls but i cant figure out how to do the video chat. Help please(:
